Karma Week by Ian Watt

I wanted to share a blog post from a Vancouver colleague I know and respect very well.

This week he has called it Karma Week and to quote him "part of what balance is to me contains the word Community, and Karma Week fits perfectly in to the mix."

I have to say next to Family, Community and being a part of it has always played a big part in our family. My husband and I have always tried to give back and we have instilled this in both of our girls.

Ian has made this an annual tradition and I would challenge others to do the same. I know I am going to. The idea is to do 7 things in 7 days for total strangers during the 1st full week of spring.

Be creative, volunteer your time or set a budget that is affordable. It can be something small or something big. Whenever I am looking for sponsors for a charity event I always say it doesn't matter the size of the donation...it's the thought that counts!

Times are tough for a lot of people, even if you cannot afford to monetarily...find some way to Pay It Forward. Everyone can use some good Karma!
