Hapa Yaletown

Last night my husband took me to Hapa Yaletown for dinner before going to the Canucks game. He works downtown and had been to their Coal Harbour location and knew I would like it. He was right, we both enjoyed our meals. 

Hapa has been awarded a number of awards for best Japanese restaurant and Bon Appetit voted them one of the Top 5 Izakaya's in all of North America. An Izakaya is a Japanese drinking establishment that serves food. Since we were dining during hapa hour between 5-6, there was lots to choose from for half price. Which gave me the opportunity to try a variety of dishes and have some left over to enjoy today. :) Everything we tried was delicious and I highly recommend Hapa Izakaya not only for their food, but the service and atmosphere were excellent too!
