Scotiabank forecasts increase by 25bps
April 9th, 2010Scotiabank is forecasting that the Bank of Canada will likely raise rates by 25 bps on June 1, 2010. It will be interesting to see if they are right. Considering how close to the July 1st date the Bank of Canada promised, I can see it being very likely Scotia's forecast to come true. I guess we will see soon enough.

A successful realtor that went from spending $5000 a month on marketing to spending $500 a month wisely and effectively. He is 100% online and has no print marketing whatsoever. Very impressed! Check him out at www.ianwatt.ca, he is the realtor to go to for condos ...
Things are turning around
February 23rd, 2009Success in an Open House in Vancouver gives me hope for the trickling effect here in the Fraser Valley. A colleague of mine just tweeted about her successful open house this past weekend where she had 43 groups of people through. Which resulted in 3 offers for her clients. What a great success story and a nice change to all the negative media out there. I do believe things are turning around, ...
To give out calendars or not to?
February 11th, 2009How many of us have walked into a clients home to do a presentation and found our competition's calendar on the fridge or wall? If asked people say they do not even realize it is a realty calendar or did not even think of calling that realtor as they have never heard from them other than to receive the calendar. If I am doing my job right they will have heard from me previously or have been ...
